Day 14 Bay of Plenty & Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand - Scenic Cruising

There's plenty to marvel at around New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty from dramatic volcanic and geothermal formations to sweeping white-sand beaches and an abundance of birdlife and marine animals. Whakaari (White Island), lies some 50 kilometers off the coast and has been New Zealand’s most active volcano since Captain James Cook circumnavigated the country in 1769. The region’s ongoing volcanic activity produces natural hot springs and thermal pools galore. You may also spot thousands of dolphins which call the Bay of Plenty home as well as orcas, pilot whales, giant sunfish and manta rays.

This may be due to non-refundable airline tickets, cancellation penalties with cruise cabins or unrecoverable payments with our land/accommodation partners. If refunds are not available from Suppliers, we will endeavour to obtain a travel credit on the best terms available and communicate these outcomes to you. In the event we are unable to obtain a refund or travel service credit, or part thereof, this cost is passed on to the customer as a Supplier Fee.
