Alaska 
In Alaska, May and September offer a transition between seasons, with May marking the onset of spring and September hinting at the arrival of fall. In May, temperatures are generally mild, ranging from about 5°C to 15°C, though they can dip lower, especially in the northern regions or at higher elevations. The weather is often sunny, but there's still a chance of occasional rain or snow, particularly in the mountains. By September, temperatures begin to cool, averaging between 0°C and 10°C, with the possibility of frost in some areas. Rain becomes more frequent, and in the far north, it may even start snowing. The daylight hours in both months are long, with May having up to 16-18 hours of daylight, and September gradually decreasing.

Seattle
In Seattle, May and September feature mild and pleasant weather, though with noticeable differences as the city transitions from spring to fall. In May, temperatures typically range from 10°C to 18°C, with more sunshine compared to the earlier months of spring. It's a great time to enjoy outdoor activities, but there can still be occasional rain showers as Seattle is known for its light, persistent rainfall. By September, temperatures cool slightly, averaging between 12°C and 20°C. The weather remains relatively dry, especially in the early part of the month, but as fall approaches, there's an increased chance of rain. Daylight hours are still fairly long in May, but by September, they begin to shorten as the city heads into autumn.

Los Angeles 
In Los Angeles, May and September typically feature warm, pleasant weather, with May ushering in the start of the warmer season and September offering late summer conditions. In May, temperatures usually range from 15°C to 22°C, with some days reaching higher, especially in inland areas. The weather is generally dry and sunny, though coastal areas may experience cooler temperatures due to ocean breezes. By September, temperatures tend to be warmer, averaging between 18°C and 30°C, and sometimes even higher during heatwaves. It's still a dry month, with plenty of sunshine, but coastal areas can offer a more comfortable escape from the heat. Both months are great for outdoor activities, as the city enjoys mostly clear skies and mild conditions.

Cabo San Lucas 
In Cabo San Lucas, April and October offer contrasting yet pleasant weather, with April being part of the dry season and October marking the transition into fall. In April, temperatures are warm, ranging from around 18°C to 30°C, with plenty of sunshine and minimal rainfall. It’s an excellent time for outdoor activities like beach outings, as the humidity is still relatively low, making it comfortable. By October, temperatures remain warm, averaging between 22°C and 34°C, but with higher humidity and a greater chance of rain, especially towards the latter part of the month. The sea breeze keeps the coastal areas more bearable, but it’s still hot overall, particularly in the inland regions. Both months offer plenty of sunshine, though October might bring occasional tropical storms.

Guatemala 
In Guatemala, April and October are quite different in terms of weather, with April being the tail end of the dry season and October marking the start of the rainy season. In April, temperatures typically range from 20°C to 30°C, with plenty of sunshine and very little rainfall. The heat can be intense in the lowland areas, while the highlands remain cooler and more pleasant. It’s a great time to explore the country, as the weather is generally dry and ideal for outdoor activities. By October, temperatures are slightly cooler, averaging between 18°C and 26°C, with more frequent rain showers, especially in the afternoons and evenings. The rain is often heavy but short-lived, and the humidity increases, making the atmosphere feel warmer. October also brings lush green landscapes due to the rains, especially in the mountainous regions. 

Panama 
In Panama, April and October experience warm, tropical weather, with notable differences between the two months. In April, temperatures typically range from 24°C to 32°C, as it's the tail end of the dry season. The weather is hot and humid, with little rainfall, especially in coastal and lowland areas. It's a great time for beach activities and outdoor adventures, though it can be quite warm, especially during midday. By October, temperatures remain similar, ranging from 24°C to 31°C, but the weather becomes more unpredictable as it's the peak of the rainy season. There’s a significant increase in rainfall, often in the form of heavy, afternoon showers or thunderstorms. The humidity also rises, making the atmosphere feel hotter, but the lush green landscape from the rains offers a beautiful contrast to the dry season. Despite the rain, October still sees plenty of warm weather, especially in the mornings.

Curacao and Aruba 
In October, both Curaçao and Aruba enjoy warm, tropical weather, with temperatures typically ranging from 26°C to 31°C. These islands, located in the southern Caribbean, are outside the typical hurricane belt, so while they may experience occasional showers, they don't usually face the same level of rainfall as other parts of the Caribbean. October is part of the rainy season for these islands, but the showers are usually brief, often in the form of short, heavy bursts in the afternoon or evening. The humidity can feel higher during this month, but the consistent trade winds help keep the air more comfortable. With plenty of sunshine and warm sea temperatures, it's still a great time for beach activities, though visitors should be prepared for the occasional rain shower.

Miami 
In Miami, April and October feature warm, tropical weather with some differences as the city transitions between seasons. In April, temperatures typically range from 22°C to 30°C, with pleasant warmth and lower humidity compared to the summer months. It’s a great time to enjoy outdoor activities, with plenty of sunshine and minimal rainfall, although brief showers can still occur. By October, temperatures remain warm, averaging between 24°C and 31°C, but the humidity increases significantly as it is part of the rainy season. Rainfall becomes more frequent, with afternoon thunderstorms common, though they are often short-lived. Despite the rain, there is still plenty of sunshine, and the weather remains warm and suitable for beach activities, though it can feel hotter due to the humidity.

We do not arrange seat selection. It is essential to highlight that some airlines do not allow pre-selected seats. While we do not add frequent flyer member details to bookings, you can do this directly with the airline once you have your flight information.

Passport Validity:
Customers must provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days before the departure date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. Customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred in this instance.

Fitness Level Required:
Adventure (and spontaneity) create some of the best travel memories. Bear in mind that your home schedules and timings may not be adhered to on tour - it's all part of the fun!

Expect a comfortable pace of touring with a focus on leisure time and gentle activities. This may include city tours, the ability to walk up and down small flights of stairs and gentle slopes. You will be responsible for your own luggage and have the ability to board all modes of transport without assistance. Please note: Some areas may be inaccessible to wheelchairs or mobility scooters, with personal walking sticks and other aids required should they be needed. Although some assistance may be available, every traveller should be self-reliant during all aspects of their travel.

Yellow Fever:
A valid international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever is required in many countries. You may need to present this on arrival at the airport or border crossing. Australian and New Zealand passport holders must apply for an electronic travel authorisation (eTA) before travelling to Canada by air. An Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is an entry requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to Canada by air. An eTA is electronically linked to a traveller’s passport. It is valid for up to five years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. If you get a new passport, you need to get a new eTA. If you arrive in Canada by train, bus, or boat, you don’t need a visa or eTA, but you do need to bring the right travel documents.

United States of America
Australian passport holders must obtain an “ESTA” visa waiver in order to enter or transit in the United States.

Guatemala

Curacao and Aruba

Panama

Supplier Fees
In the event the tour package you have purchased is unable to proceed, and/or a Travel Supplier is unable to fulfil the tour due to external circumstances (Limitation of Liability e.g. a Force Majeure event), there may be a fee or amount of money that is withheld by our Suppliers and is unrecoverable. This may be due to non-refundable airline tickets, cancellation penalties with cruise cabins or unrecoverable payments with our land/accommodation partners. If refunds are not available from Suppliers, we will endeavour to obtain a travel credit on the best terms available and communicate these outcomes to you. In the event we are unable to obtain a refund or travel service credit, or part thereof, this cost is passed on to the customer as a Supplier Fee.
